Zombie Pub Crawl
In 2005, a group of friends, including Taylor, got together some like-minded people to throw a party while dressed as zombies.
From that initial party, the Zombie Pub Crawl grew into Minnesota's largest pub crawl -- and it's now not uncommon to find zombie pub crawls in many cities throughout the country.

Flak Radio
A "wide-ranging" and "laid-back" show featuring "engaging" hosts and "lively" proceedings.
~ Mpls St. Paul magazine, Jan. 2008
The Emmy-nominated Flak Radio program is the weekly podcast of Flak Magazine. Based out of the guest room of James Norton's Minneapolis apartment, it features Taylor Carik and a frequently rotating cast of guest co-hosts.
Flak Radio began in November 2006. Al Franken Show producers James Norton and Joel Meyer, careening toward unemployment as the show expired, co-founded Flak Radio after hours in the Al Franken studio as an outlet for their surplus broadcast energy.
Taylor Carik was brought on board as a co-host, and the show clicked. More than 120 episodes later, it rolls onward.
Flak Radio guests have included Onion editor Scott Dikkers, Kevin Murphy of Mystery Science Theater 3000, Jason DeRusha of WCCO, Radio K's Amy Daml, Rachel Hutton of City Pages, Tony Thomas of Minneapoliscast, Internet musical sensation Tay Zonday, and many more.

Few can think through the complexity of today's media landscape without wasting time and resource. Taylor can, and does.
